OpenColorIO 2.5

The current version of OCIO supported in Flame Family 2026.2 Update is 2.5, released in October 2025. This version contains the many fixes and enhancements listed on the OCIO 2.5 Release page.

In addition, Apple Log 2 and Linear Apple Wide Gamut colour spaces have been made available to Flame Family applications.

Support in OpenFX Plugins

Although Flame Family applications now support OCIO 2.5 configuration files, OpenFX plugins with OCIO support may be using an earlier version. In this case, the plugin will ignore the Flame Family project's OCIO configuration file and use a default configuration. The Flame Family's default and example configs remain at config version 2.4 to ensure wider compatibility.
