Video: Create Template Analytic
To create a template analytic:
- Create a new analytic.
- Configure the
input nodes.
- Make sure to enter descriptions and expected units so that other users know how to use your template. You may enter several expected units if there are multiple options.
- When others use this template analytic, the data sources and values will be empty for them, and they will be asked to fill out their own.
- Configure the output node(s) and validate the expression(s).
- Bear in mind what will be shared as part of the template:
Not shared in template:
- Your time series data
Shared in template:
- Nodes names and descriptions
- Expected series type and unit
- When your analytic is ready, click on the drop-down arrow beside Save and select Save as Template.
Note: It is not currently possible to edit analytic templates after saving as a template.
- Select a Type for the template (this determines which category it shows in).
- Select the Sharing Permissions for the template.
- Internal: The template will only be available to users in your Info360 hub.
- (For AMER hubs only) External: The template will be shared with all Info360 hubs, including those outside your organization.
