To apply superelevation to a component road
You can apply superelevation to selected component roads in the Stack. Once you have applied superelevation to a component road, show superelevation in your model using the right-click context menu.
Select a component road and toggle the Superelevation attribute to the on position in the Stack. This will apply superelevation to the geometry of the road and any related bridges or intersection areas.
Right-click, and checkmark Show Superelevation. This will activate the visual display of superelevation for your component roads, bridges and intersection areas.
The selected component road will display critical stations on the road, and the Stack will display superelevation attributes.
Note: If superelevation does not appear in-canvas, you may need to press Enter on your keyboard to regenerate the road with superelevation applied (this occurs if you have delayed road regeneration applied to your model in Application Options).Use the Cross Section Viewer and Station Tracker to inspect superelevation through a roadway, bridge, and/or intersection area. You can also add pavement drainage along roads with complex cross sections such as multiple gutters or superelevated regions. See To inspect superelevated roads and intersections for more info.
