About Editing Styles

Styles are stored in style catalogs in the Style Palette. Style catalogs are categorized by feature class.

You can create and edit new styles in a selected style catalog, or edit existing styles in a selected style catalog.

It is a good idea to duplicate an existing style before editing it. Duplicate styles are also helpful for creating multiple style versions, for example, different sizes for city furniture styles, like signs.

Advanced users can:

Import and export style catalogs in .STYLES.JSON format.
Import 3D models into style catalogs.
Add material styles to style catalogs.
