To remove a vertical curve from a road

A point of vertical intersection (PVI) and vertical curve can be removed from a component road.

1. Select the component road.
2. Rotate and pitch the model so that the vertical manipulators are visible.
3. Use one of the following methods to remove a vertical curve:
   • In Profile View, right-click the PVI you want to remove. (Use Ctrl or Shift to select multiple PVIs). Click Remove PVI.
   • The PVI and any associated vertical curve are removed from the road.
   • In Profile View, right-click the PVI of the vertical curve you want to remove. (Use Ctrl or Shift to select multiple PVIs). Click Convert GeometryNone.
   • The PVI and any associated vertical curve are removed from the road.
   • Right-click the PVI of the vertical curve that you want to remove. Click Remove Vertical Curve.
   • The vertical curve is removed from the road.
   • Right-click the PVI of the vertical curve that you want to remove. Click Remove PVI.
   • The PVI and vertical curve are removed.
