Select and Highlight Features

Selected features are highlighted in yellow and surrounded by a bounding box.

When multiple features are selected, the bounding box encompasses all of the selected items, and anything you do affects the entire selection.

Use highlighting to see the difference between various categories of features.

By default, features are highlighted in yellow. You can change the highlight color for any feature class or subset.

Edit Features

Use clipboard operations to cut, copy, and paste, and to undo or redo operations. Undo works for most operations, but it does not work for the following:

• Adding, removing, or merging proposals
• Importing data (or other changes in Model Explorer)
• Navigation
• Selection
• Adding or editing styles, style rules, or themes
• Hiding or showing windows or palettes, or changing viewing options
