To regenerate the model from its data sources

You can regenerate feature class data sources individually, or regenerate the entire model from all its data sources.

To update a data source from its original data

1. Click Manage Content (Data Sources).

2. Select the desired data source in the Data Sources panel.

3. Click .

   The data for that data source in the model is replaced by the current contents of the connected data store.

To update the location or name of a file data source that changes

1. In the Data Sources panel, click .
2. Select the value in the New field within the File Data Source Reconnection dialog box.
3. Select . Navigate to the file data source location and press Open.
4. Click OK.

To regenerate the entire model to reflect recent changes

1. Click .
2. To stop the regeneration process, click Stop in the Generating Model dialog box.
3. To resume after stopping, click .
