About Roundabouts

Autodesk InfraWorks creates roundabouts by selecting existing intersections of component roads and converting them to roundabouts. You can use in-canvas tools or the Stack to adjust and refine roundabouts, roundel size, and the arms's blend point.

Intersection to Roundabout

An intersection, made up of component roads, can be converted to a roundabout.

Roundabout

Select the roundabout to view and modify its attributes in the stack, or use in-canvas editing grips. You can change the standard used for the roundabout by selecting a new one from the list.

Roundel

Select the roundel to view and modify its attributes in the stack, or use in-canvas editing grips. You can change Inscribed Circle Diameter (ICD), the width of the apron, and the diameter of the central circle. When you orbit the roundabout to a more angled view, the grips change and you can edit the elevation of the center point and the bearing and slope of the tilted roundel plane.

See Video: Grip Editing for Roundabouts for more information.
