Autodesk InfraWorks Known Issues (2023 - March 2022)
General |
The use of large coordinates in 3D models, with the exception of imported Civil 3D or Revit content, might cause unexpected results such as degraded mesh quality. |
High DPI Scaling: Only scale factors of 100%, 200%, 300%, etc. are supported. Any scale factor in between will be rounded (e.g. 150% will be rounded to 200%). |
The 3D portion of the InfraWorks user interface does not yet use high resolution DPI scaling. Instead, standard resolution is up-scaled to fit regardless of the monitor setting, which brings aliasing artifacts and cause can some pixelation |
The Line Girder Analysis dialog behaves inconsistently and can cause InfraWorks to close unexpectedly when moved across multiple monitors. |
Collaboration |
Copied IWM files can not be edited nor opened in InfraWorks, and can only be viewed using the Autodesk Viewer. |
Model Builder |
Model Builder does not support custom coordinate systems at this time. If you create a Model Builder model and select a custom coordinate system, the model will fail. |
Roads |
When mapping Civil 3D corridors to InfraWorks component roads, if the string of a subassembly column is contained in the class name of the subassembly of Civil 3D, a rule will be applied to the related corridor component road in InfraWorks, with the first rule applied having highest priority. |
Importing Autodesk Civil 3D DWG road models into InfraWorks will cause unexpected results or the corridor may even fail to import if grading is configured in Autodesk Civil 3D to use construction shapes and links. Instead, construction shapes and links must be set to Ignore before importing DWG road models into InfraWorks. |
If the Civil 3D Corridor uses the same horizontal alignment and different vertical alignment, only one baseline will be exported to InfraWorks. |
