Data Exchange
This is a reference for data exchange workflows between Autodesk InfraWorks and other applications. Autodesk InfraWorks can exchange data with a variety of applications, from other Autodesk products, to third party applications.

For ease of use, we have organized data exchange workflows into the following categories:
- In the AEC Collection: Autodesk products in the AEC Collection
- Not in the AEC Collection: Autodesk products not in the AEC Collection
- Third-party applications: third party products or services
Data exchange workflows are also classified by the type of workflow required:
- File import or export: A static one-way transfer of data. For example, exporting a spreadsheet from Application A and importing it into Application B.
- Direct connection: A static or dynamically-linked data exchange. For example, referencing linked topography between Autodesk Civil 3D and Autodesk Revit.
- Mixed Workflow: A data exchange requiring multiple applications or data types. For example, sending design data from Dynamo Studio to InfraWorks requires exchanging data through AutoCAD.
