To split a component in a component road

Split components in a component road to modify that section or replace it with a different component or assembly.

1. Select the roadway component that you want to split.

2. Right-click the selected component and click Split Component.

   

3. Slide your cursor until the gold placement grip is positioned where you want to split the component.

   

4. Click to split the component. When the split is complete, a black control grip appears where the component was split.

   

5. You can also modify road transitions between components.
