Cancel a simulation

You can cancel an ICM simulation that is currently running.
Tip: Use the Runs management page if you want to cancel all simulations in a run.
  1. Go to Runs.
  2. If you have access to more than one hub, check that the appropriate hub is selected.
  3. In the Runs list, find the ICM run that contains the simulation you want to cancel.

You can use the Database drop-down to limit the runs in the list to those for a particular database, use the My runs only option to filter your own runs, and/or use the Status drop-down to limit the list to runs whose status is Running.

  4. Click anywhere on the appropriate row for a run in the Runs list.

The Simulations management page is displayed.

  5. In the list of simulations, find the stimulation you want to cancel.

You can use the Status drop-down to limit the list to simulations whose status is Running.

  6. Click (Vertical Ellipsis) located at the end of the applicable row.
  7. A confirmation message is displayed. To cancel the simulation:

    1. Check the I understand that cancelling this simulation cannot be undone box.
    2. Click Cancel Simulation.

A confirmation message pops up when the simulation has been cancelled, and the simulation status is set to Failed.

The status of the simulations in the run in InfoWorks ICM should also indicate that they have been cancelled.
