If you rename a database that is used by other users, it may be useful to inform them that you have renamed it. It is currently not possible for the software to automatically inform them of this.
- Go to Database.
- If you have access to more than one hub, select the appropriate one.
- Click the Active tab.
- In the database list, find the database you want to rename.
- Click
(Vertical Ellipsis) located to the right of the applicable row.
- Select Rename.
A Rename window is displayed.
- Specify the new name for the database in the box.
Note: This must be a unique database name. An error message is displayed if you specify a name that is already used by another database in the selected hub. If this occurs, try again.
- Click Rename.
The database is now listed with its new name in the Active tab, and can be opened using its new name in the applicable modeling product.
