To Obtain a Host Name and ID at a Mac or Linux Terminal Window

Launch a Terminal window.
Go to the directory where lmutil is installed.
Retrieve the host name by entering the following in Terminal:
```
<prompt>./lmutil lmhostid -hostname
```
Record the displayed host name.
Retrieve the host ID by entering the following in Terminal:
```
<prompt>./lmutil lmhostid
```
Record the displayed 12-character host ID, and then close the Terminal Window.
