Issue:
Inventor drawing view does not show applied finish feature appearance. It is always the base color shown without the finish feature settings.
Causes:
Corrupted appearance buffered in Inventor document.
Solution:
Follow these steps to renew buffered appearances:
- Open drawing
- Open part from affected drawing view
- Change appearance of the finish feature to a different temporary appearance
- Apply change and close the finish dialog
- Purge all materials and appearances
- Go back to the finish feature and select the correct appearance again
- Apply change and close the finish dialog
- Switch back to the drawing
Now the appearance should be correct in drawing view.
