Sketch names display in Select Other results
When using Select Other, sketch objects listed in the results include the sketch name where they are used. This feature is available in Part, Assembly, and 3D sketches.
Paste Sketch Geometry uses cursor location
When you copy and past sketch geometry and sketch blocks, the paste location corresponds with the cursor location. The center of the selection set is placed at the cursor location.
Window Select for Projected Objects
In Part and Assembly environments, you now have the ability to window select when projecting geometry of objects to a sketch.
The following geometry is supported for the window selection:
- 2D sketch geometry
- 3D sketch geometry
- work features (for example work axis, work point, work plane)
- edges
- faces
- vertices
Note that window selection can lead to duplicate projection of sketch geometries which may cause problems in the design process. We recommend turning off the visibility of the sketch or the body to avoid the unexpected projection.
Stabilized Sketch Dimension Placement
Sketch dimensions now remain in their placed positions relative to the geometry they are associated with.
