ITEM-CODEs and descriptions are included with all Tube and Pipe content shipped with Autodesk Inventor. You can add ITEM-CODE and descriptions to new content when you publish it to the Content Center. To add ISOGEN ITEM-CODES and descriptions to existing content, use the Content Center Editor and copy it to a read-write library.
- Migrate your library content to the current version.
- Load your custom read/write libraries along with the standard library that contains tube and pipe content.
These files contain the latest definitions for tube and pipe content, including ISOGEN Description and ISOGEN ITEM-CODE.
- On the ribbon, click Manage tab
Content Center panel Editor . - Find a family to edit from your read/write library.
- From the Content Center Editor toolbar, click Family Properties.
- From the Family Properties dialog box, Parameters Mapping tab, map the ISOGEN ITEM-CODE and ISOGEN Description columns to an existing family table column.
Alternatively, you can add two new columns using the Family Table dialog box, and then map these two parameters to the new columns.
- Click OK.
- Repeat Steps 4-7 to add this ISOGEN information to additional families.
- Click Done.
Note: If the family was created using Copy To, parameter map edits are not allowed. In this case, open the original iPart model, add the ISOGEN columns, re-author, and publish.
