Show Violations command

  • Lists the segments, wires, and work points that are causing the bend radius failure for the selected object.
  • Highlights the corresponding segments and work points in the graphics window.
  • Places a red symbol at the actual location of the violation in the graphics window.

Access:

In the browser or graphics window, right-click an object with an existing violation and then select Bend RadiusShow Violations on the context menu.

Lists the object that failed the bend radius check at the top of the dialog box:

  • For segments, the work point closest to the violation location is listed.
  • For a routed wire or cable, each pair of work points on the segment that contributes to a violation is listed. If work points exist on the wire or cable wire, the pair of work points that contributes to a violation is listed.
  • For an unrouted wire or cable wire that contains work points, the pair of work points that contributes to a violation is listed.
  • For wire or cable wire stubs that contain work points, the pair of work points that contributes to a violation is listed.
  • When more than one segment contributes to a violation for a wire, cable, or cable wire, all contributing segments and the closest work points are noted.

Click a violation in the list to highlight the related spline in the graphics window.
