Accessible only from within the Appearance Browser.

Access

In the Appearance Browser, select an appearance and click , or double-click an appearance.

Preview

Use the resize control to enlarge or shrink the preview.

Name

Name of Appearance

Properties pane

Displays the property list, based on the appearance type. The appearance types include: Ceramic, Concrete, Generic, Glazing, Masonry, Metal, Metallic Paint, Mirror, Plastic, Solid Glass, Stone, Wall Paint, Water, and Wood.

Example: the following list is for the Generic Appearance. You can adjust properties.

You can adjust properties.
Note: Although the Realistic visual style uses all appearance properties for display, Shaded visual styles do not. A display with Shaded visual styles does not always show your edits to appearance properties. To see your edits, switch to Realistic visual style, and disable ray tracing.
