The following areas have performance improvements:

Note: Improvement valuation is based on internal and customer dataset test cases, however, your performance may vary.
  • Adaptivity - This improvement benefits compute for assemblies with adaptive datasets. Add constraint workflow is one such assembly compute workflow. Cable and Harness, Tube and Pipe, and Frame Generator also benefit from it.
  • Model States for Creating and switching model states. An assembly with a large model state table, which includes a significant number of rows and columns, can now be edited more efficiently from the spreadsheet. Additionally, activating a model state and opening the Bill of Materials (BoM) dialog is much faster than before.
  • Close and Suppress, for Assemblies with large numbers of graphics nodes are improved.
  • Parts Mirror Pattern, improved for some sketch based pattern workflows and compute for parts containing patterns. - Sheet Metal, when editing Refold. - Design Assistant, improved when multiple files are dragged into Design Assistant.

    Performance Feedback Recorder (Add-in)

This new add-in is designed to assist in determining potential performance issues. Access to the tool is managed through the Add-in Manager. Once loaded, click the Help button Help Performance Feedback Recorder and follow the prompts. After recording your feedback, you are presented with a series of panels where you can provide information about your experience.
