Generate Core and Cavity Reference

Evaluates geometry and splits the workpiece into core and cavity after you create a satisfactory workpiece, patching surface, and runoff surface.

Access:
	On the Core/Cavity tab, click Generate Core and Cavity.

Selection

Preview/Diagnose

Evaluates the parting surface and displays the bodies before creation. Enables Opacity Settings, Body Separation, and the Parting Diagnostics tab.

Opacity Settings

Controls the transparency of the bodies.

Body Separation

Previews the physical separation of the bodies.

Repair Tolerance

Sets the value to close small gaps.

Parting Diagnostics tab

Displays a list of any problems detected. Click a problem in the list to highlight the area in the graphics window.

Copy All Messages

Copies error messages to the clipboard so that you can paste them into a text or word processing document, or email message.
