To Start a Shape Generator Study

Use one of two ways to start a Shape Generator Study.

You can access Shape Generator directly as part of your normal modeling workflow or as part of your Stress Analysis workflow.

Directly start a Shape Generator Study:

  1. Open the part file of interest.
  2. On the ribbon 3D Model tab > Explore panel, click Shape Generator.

    The ribbon displays the tools for generating a shape and a new Shape Generator Study is created.

To start a Shape Generator Study from within the Stress Analysis environment:

  1. Open the part file of interest.
  2. On the ribbon 3D Model tab > Simulation panel, click Stress Analysis. The Stress Analysis environment can also be accessed from the Environments tab.
  3. On the Analysis tab > Manage panel, click Create Study.
  4. In the Create New Study dialog, select Shape Generator and click OK.
