To Import with Task Scheduler

  1. In the Inventor Task Scheduler window, click Import Files .

    The information in the task list switches to show any import files tasks that you saved previously.

  2. In the Inventor Task Scheduler window, right-click, and select Create Task Import Files.
  3. In the Import Files dialog box, Task pane, specify an Inventor project, if applicable.
  4. In the Import Files dialog box, select any of these options:
    • Add Folder. Specifies a folder to include in the task. Your selection includes the folder’s Inventor files and their dependencies. If you choose Add Folder, you have two further options: include subfolders (click in the Recursive column) and specify file types to include (click in the Input File Name column).
    • Add Files. Specifies individual files.

      If necessary, repeat the steps to add more files and folders.

  5. In the Task Properties box, enter a task name and a time-out threshold.
  6. Specify a schedule, or select the Immediately option.
  7. Select an entry in the list, click Options, and change or accept the default settings. Then click OK.
  8. In the Import Files dialog box, click OK.
