Define Workpiece Reference

Defining the workpiece is a prerequisite to generating the core and cavity.

Access:
On the Core/Cavity tab, click Define Workpiece.
Workpiece TypeSpecifies a rectangular or cylindrical workpiece from the drop-down menu.
Product Dimensions

X

Shows the projected length of the product in the X direction.

Y

Shows the projected length of the product in the Y direction.

Z

Shows the projected length of the product in the Z direction.

Reference

Specifies a By Boundary Box or By References workpiece from the drop-down menu.

By References enables selection of a Part CSYS, circular edge, endpoint, Work Point, or UCS in the graphics window. Checking Multiple references enables the selection arrows in the Workpiece Dimensions section.
