Bounded Runoff Surface Reference

Creates a runoff surface.

Access:
 

On the Core/Cavity tab, click Bounded Runoff Surface.

Note: Extrude Runoff Surface, Bounded Runoff Surface and Radiate Runoff Surface are grouped. Click the down arrow to show all the options.
 

Geometry

Specifies points, edges, sketches, or faces (geometries) from which to create a runoff surface. To add geometries, click the relevant geometry in the graphics window. To remove them, hold down CTRL as you click.

Direction 1

Direction 2

Sets the direction along the X axis in the Mold Design Coordinate System.

Sets the direction along the Y axis in the Mold Design Coordinate System.

Flip

Reverses the direction of the surfaces.

Angle Value

Sets the direction along a user-defined coordinate.

Select Linear or Planar Entity

Specifies the direction of the bounded surface by selecting the surface edge, face edge, planar face, work axis, or work plane.
