Save Dependents Dialog Reference

Access

Click File Save or File Save As Save Copy As. Any change in referenced files causes the Save dialog box to display.

Files Requiring Save

Lists the referenced files with changes that are not yet saved.

Save

Specifies whether to save the file, all listed files, or a selected set of files. You can save all changed files or select the files to save.

When you save a drawing, displays the dependent files that were changed without being saved.

Note: Some Routed Systems files are saved as a unit. These files are listed together in the dialog box to show their relationship. The Yes/No status of these files also switches as a unit.

  • Changes made to the width of one or more columns persists across sessions. For example, if you increase the width of the Files Requiring Save column, the specified width will continue across sessions until you specify a different width.

  • Click a column name to toggle the display of the text.

  • Change the Save status by clicking the save status (for example, click Yes to change to No).

  • The Save State column displays the save state for the following conditions:

    • Migration
    • User Edits
    • API Changes
    • Manual Update
    • File Resolution Change
    • Mass Property Update
    • Implicit Update
Note: Files not in the active project are displayed in red.
