Learn about new export formats and updates to existing import/export formats.
DWFX Export
Inventor DWFX export has improved mesh display when opened in Design Review.
glTF
glTF is an open source format that stores the model, scene, and animation data. The default output is .glb (fully self-contained binary file). Enter .gltf as the extension if you want to output to .gltf. Both export file types are supported by Task Scheduler.
- .gltf output consists of an ascii file (.gltf), a binary file, and .png files representing the textures. Typically used by one who is editing the output content in some other application.
- .glb output produces a single binary file with all of the textures included. Typically used by one who is consuming the output.
