Export and import of assembly annotations (What's New in 2026)
Check out the enhancements made for the export and import of assembly annotations.
The following enhancements were added in this release:
- Support for the export of assembly annotations to JT/STEP with PMI
- Assembly annotations are exported with semantic data
- Semantic data are not supported for Thread notes and Welding 3D annotations
- Only the top assembly level and part level annotations are exported
- Annotations from the part level are exported as invisible
- Support for the import of assembly annotations (PMI) from JT/STEP (242)
- Annotations from the part level are imported as invisible
