The
SWMM Time Patterns Editor is used to add, rename or delete
time patterns definitions for
SWMM networks. It is displayed by either dragging the applicable
SWMM Time Patterns (
)
database item from the
Explorer window onto the main window background, or by right-clicking on the item and choosing Open from the popup menu.
The following items are contained in this Editor:

| Time pattern |
A dropdown list containing the names of all time patterns currently defined. |
| Rename |
Changes the name of an existing time pattern. When this button is selected, a new window that contains the name of the currently selected time pattern (from the dropdown list) is displayed, which you can edit as required. |
| Add |
Adds a new time pattern to the list. When this button is selected, a new window is displayed into which you can specify the name of the new time pattern. |
| Delete |
Deletes the time pattern currently selected in the dropdown list. When this button is selected, a message is displayed asking you to confirm the deletion. If confirmed, the selected time pattern, and any adjustment factors already defined for it, will be deleted. |
| Type of time pattern / Factor |
A grid which contains the adjustment factors to be used for this time pattern. The first column is read-only whose content depends on which type of time pattern is selected. The second column displays the adjustment factors defined for the selected type of time pattern. By default, all factors for a new time pattern are set to 1, which can be edited as required. |
