Velocity Profile Grid Report Dialog

This dialog is used to produce a detailed breakdown of flow, bulk velocity and wetted area for a selection of river reaches. Values are provided at each timestep for each river reach section as a whole and for individual panels that make up the sections.

Tip: The date-times included in the report can be restricted by setting the start and end times in the Replay Options dialog. For this to take effect the Apply to Grid and Graph Tools box must be checked in the Replay Options dialog.

The report can be displayed in a grid view or exported to CSV format.

The dialog is displayed when Grid report Velocity profile report is selected from the Results menu.

Dialog description

Item Description
Sim

A drop box for the simulations to be analysed.

For cloud simulations, the results (full or summary) must be downloaded to your local results folder.

A grid report will be produced for each simulation selected.

Selection list

Optionally choose a Selection List or click the button to use the current selection in the active GeoPlan.

Results exported to the report will be restricted to river reaches in the selection list or current selection.

If no selection is made all river reaches will be included in the report.

Report format

Determines the report format:

  • All on one tab: all results are displayed in a single tab in the grid report or exported to a single csv file per simulation
  • Tab per reach: results for each reach are displayed in separate tabs in the grid report or exported to separate csv files
  • Tab per section: results for each river section are displayed in separate tabs in the grid report or exported to separate csv files
Produce Grid Generates the report and displays it in the Velocity Profile Report View .
Export to CSV Export the results to a CSV file.
