Select Edit Flag
The Select edit flag dialog is displayed when the Select edit flag option is selected in the Tools menu.
Note:
The Select edit flag option is only enabled when either the Use edit flag option is selected from the Tools menu or the Toggle Edit Flag button 
is turned on in the Edit Toolbar.

Select the required flag from the Edit Flag dropdown list of all available user
defined flags, and then click OK.
This flag will now apply to all edits until the option is disabled by either selecting the Tools|Use edit flag option or turning off the Toggle Edit Flag button in the Edit Toolbar.
