Creating runs

Incident and response runs can be generated in IWLive Pro Operator, via the Run Manager.

Runs created from base runs will be incident runs. Runs created from incident runs will be response runs.

To create a run:

1. Right-click an existing run in the Run Manager and choose Create child run.

   The New Run dialog is displayed.

2. Enter a name for the run in the Run Name box, or leave the name that has been automatically generated.
3. Select a warning template to use for the display of the results in the Warning Template dropdown list.
4. If the run is a Water Quality run:
   1. Tick the Water Quality Run checkbox.
   2. Select a Solute Data object in the Solute Data dropdown list.
   3. If the substance of interest for this run is different from the substance used for the base run (the run this run derives from), select the Clear initial concentrations checkbox.

   One trace node can be selected in the Trace Node dropdown list if required (optional).

5. If the run is to be optimised using BalanceNet, tick the Use BalanceNet checkbox.
6. Click OK to create the run. The New Run dialog closes.

To start the run:

• In the Run Manager, click the Simulate button .
