The Find panes of the Find window can be used to search for an object by specifying its full or partial address through Google Maps, Bing, or Nominatim geocoding.
For this feature to work, access to the web map application must have been set up using the Online Find Options (Geocoding) dialog, and a coordinate system for the geoplan must have been selected (see Selecting the Coordinate System).
To carry out a search:
- Open the Find window.
- Select the required geocoding search pane (if it is not already showing):
Google Maps
Bing Maps
Nominatim - Enter the full or partial address of the location in the search field.
- Click Find to search for the address.
Any messages are displayed in the read-only message area and any search results are displayed in a Results area.
- Double-click the address in the Results area and the Geoplan will centre on the selected address.
