Custom Label Settings dialog

The Custom Label Settings dialog allows the display options of custom labels on the GeoPlan window to be edited.

For details on using custom labels on the GeoPlan window, see Displaying Labels on the GeoPlan.

  • The Content Page allows you to select which Fields to display on the labels.
  • The Formatting Page allows customisation of the display of labels (text alignment, border, font type and font size).

To display the Custom Label Settings dialog, right-click a custom label in the GeoPlan view and select one of the Edit options from the popup menu.

The following buttons are available on the dialog and some may be enabled or disabled depending if you are editing the label for a particular object or all the labels for an object type:

Save As Default

Button disabled

Saves the settings currently displayed in the dialog for use as default settings for all subsequently opened views of the same type.

Apply All

Button disabled

Applies the settings currently displayed in the dialog to all the existing labels on objects of the same type in the current window.

Delete

Closes the dialog and removes the label from the GeoPlan.

Button disabled

OK

Closes the dialog and applies changes to the label(s).

Cancel

Closes the dialog and does not apply any changes to the label(s).

Apply

Applies changes to the label(s) without closing the dialog.

Help

Opens related Help topics.

* On the Object context menu, select the Edit option (you only want to edit the label for this particular object)

** On the Object context menu, select the Edit Default Layer Properties (you want to edit all the labels for the same object type)
