The InfoAsset Import dialog is used as part of the process of:
- Importing from InfoAsset snapshot file
- Updating from InfoAsset data
The dialog is displayed when the Import button on the Import Snapshot dialog is clicked.
Flags page
The Flags page is used to select the option to import data flags from the InfoAsset network, or to flag all imported data with a #A flag.
Mappings page
The Mappings page is used to set how various fields from InfoAsset translate into valid InfoWorks values. Also you can choose how to deal with unrecognised values.
These particular settings can be saved and reloaded.
- Use the Save button to save the current mappings into an Import Mapping Configuration (.CFG) file
- Use the Load button to reload previously stored settings. Default Import Mapping Configuration files are supplied with the software
