Learn how to set a default edit flag that will apply to all future editing operations until the option is disabled.
Only user created flags can be selected to be edit flags.
The edit flag option applies to all changes made on the grid views or property sheets.
To enable the edit flag option
- On the Edit toolbar, click the Use edit flag button
to turn on the option.
When turned on, the button is shown with a blue outline.
When the option is switched on, you can access the Select edit flag drop-down list
.
- Choose an edit flag from the drop-down list.
InfoWorks WS Pro will now apply this flag to all edits until the option is disabled by clicking the Use edit flag button again.
The edit flag is not just applied for basic editing operations, but also for:
- Pasting from the clipboard.
- Adjusting or replacing a block of values.
