Release Notes in version 2025.1

This document lists product fixes which have been made in InfoWorks WS Pro 2025.1 and 2025.1.1.

See Known Issues for a list of limitations that we are aware of.

The fixes listed here are those that are viewed as likely to impact on users in an unexpected way, mainly changed simulation results, or differences in behaviour that might not be obvious.

InfoWorks WS Pro 2025.1.1

Proxy settings

The partial support for automatic detection of proxy servers when working with cloud databases that was implemented in earlier 2025 releases has been removed. It is still possible to manually specify a proxy server using the http_proxy environment variable.

InfoWorks WS Pro 2025.1

Copying to a Cloud database

There is now a clearer warning about not copying check-in/out networks when pasting to a cloud database. Runs based on a check-in/out network are now not copied to cloud databases.

Controls

If a control record already existed in a scenario but not in the base an error message was shown if the record was added to the base. This could happen when a value was set for the control in the base. This is fixed.

Tree icon for Current Run

When a Run is marked as current, the tooltip on the tree showed the wrong icon. This is fixed. The current run now has an icon with a blue border.

Scenarios

Scenario reintegration would fail if scenarios contained different types of objects with the same name. This is fixed.

Live data, using the ACE adaptor

The error handling for the ACE Live Data Adaptor has been improved. If the ACE adaptor is selected, but the driver is not installed, an error message is given.

Exchange - scheduling a run under Autodesk licensing

The Ruby method WSRunScheduler.wsma fails under Autodesk licensing. This is fixed.

Upload to Info360 Asset

When sending results to Info360 Asset, via Export => To Info360 Asset, the upload function could not resolve the host. This is fixed

When using an older agent

If an older Agent is active the software will not run a simulation. No warning message was displayed. This is fixed: a warning message is now displayed to allow settings to be updated.

GMR summary results

GMR summary results created in previous versions could not be opened in version 2025.0. This is fixed.

WS Pro Exchange - ODEC export

The odic_export_ex in WS Pro Exchange did not work properly when opening a simulation object. This is fixed.

EPANET export

Demand using equivalent persons was not exported to EPANET. This is fixed.

Updating the Marshaller and Agent in the Water Supply Manager

The Marshaller and Agent versions are updated to the new version by the Water Supply Manager. The services are now switched as a pair, and you will be prompted to accept this as the recommended action. These services are automatically restarted.

SQL queries

When using pipes attached to customer points in customer queries with scenarios, the base scenario would be used. This is fixed

Database creation and update scripts

The update and creation scripts did not work for 2025.0. This is fixed.

Skeletonizer

Using the Undo options in the Skeletonizer did not always work. This is fixed.

Use maximum velocity option

Prior to version 2025.1, when no links had a constrained velocity, the link displayed was the one that was closest to its constraint.

Copying to a Cloud database from Oracle or SQL-Server Workgroup database

You might copy a network from a standard database - or a transportable database - into an Oracle / SQL Server database. Such a network will fail to copy from the Oracle / SQL Server database into a Cloud database. This failure will persist even if you attempt to copy via a transportable database or standard workgroup database.

The issue is fixed from version 2025. InfoWorks WS Pro 2025 or later will copy the Network data correctly from affected Oracle / SQL Server database into the Cloud.

Viewer License

The viewer license could not be selected. This is fixed and is available in the License Setup Wizard. Refer to the Innovyze License Setup Wizard page for more information.
