Pump Curve Data Fields

This table lists all the data fields for a Pump. Some of them can be viewed and edited on the Pump Grid Viewof the Links Grid.

All the fields can be viewed and edited on the Pump Curve Page, which also displays a graph of pump characteristics.

Further information, including units details, about all the Network Object fields stored in the database can be found in the data fields topics listed in the Network Data Fields topic.

Note: Use the scroll bar at the bottom of the table to view its entire content.

Total Inertia

Total Inertia for use in InfoWorks TS (Transient System) simulations calculated according to selected Inertia Mode. See Pump Curve Page for further details.

Total Inertia is the sum of the Pump inertia and Motor inertia:

Pump Inertia (Heavy construction):

Pump Inertia (Light Construction):

Motor Inertia:

where:

I = Inertia (kg m2)

P = Mechanical Power (kW)

N = Nominal Speed

g = Acceleration due to gravity
