Water Quality (MSQ) page (Links)

Initial concentrations of solutes are set as global values in the solute data object. Constants are also set as global values in the solute object.

This property page allows values to be set for a given pipe, so that starting concentrations or reaction equations can be modified to allow for issues such as material type, time since last flush, age of pipe.

The page is displayed in one of the following ways:

  • by clicking the Water Quality (MSQ) tab on the property sheet for a link that has control data added
  • by clicking the ellipsis in the Water Quality Source entry in the Water Quality (MSQ) section of the Object Properties window

The WQ Pipe Constant ID and Value may also be changed using the Set WQ Pipe Constants from Material dialog.

Validation

Errors will occur for the following:

  • if solutes or constants are named in this grid, and do not exist in the solute data object
  • if an initial concentrations are below zero
