Use this command to specify whether or not feature property values are calculated based on the rules specified in the Split and Merge Rules dialog box.
The rules affect the following commands:
- Split (MAPFEATURESPLIT)
- Merge (MAPFEATUREMERGE)
- Overlay
- JOIN (See the AutoCAD Help.)
- Join option of PEDIT (See the AutoCAD Help.)
- BREAK (See the AutoCAD Help.)
- TRIM (See the AutoCAD Help.)
Even when MAPIGNORESPLITMERGERULES is set to Yes, the following default rules are applied when splitting or merging features. For more information about these rules, see Split and Merge Rules dialog box
