To Prepare for Importing Inspection Data

You must create a wastewater import project that contains two industry models: your wastewater industry model, and the intermediate industry model.

1. Start Infrastructure Administrator and click Enterprise.
2. In the Administrator window, click Project menu Create.
3. Enter a name for the project, such as WS_Wastewater.
4. In the Industry Models group of the Workspace Manager pane, add your wastewater industry model. Do one of the folllowing:
   • Under Available Industry Models In MAPSYS, select your wastewater industry model, and click to add the industry model to the Industry Models In Project <project name>.
   • Click New, and create a new industry model that contains the Wastewater Data Model module.

5. Create the intermediate industry model. In the Industry Models group of the Project Manager pane, click New. Specify the following:
   • On the General tab, specify a user name for the intermediate industry model, such as WW_IMPORT.
   • On the Modules tab, select Wastewater Data Model (For Intermediate Industry Model).
6. Click OK.

   The industry model is added to the wastewater import project.

Now you can start AutoCAD Map 3D toolset or Industry Model Data Editor and import inspection data.
