You can create your own
industry model template in the
Autodesk Infrastructure Administrator .
To create an industry model template
- Log in as Map System User.
- Start Autodesk Infrastructure Administrator.
- Click .
- Click any of the following:
- Modules -- Pre-defined data structures. You specify a module only for a new industry model; existing industry models already have one. Generally, you include only one module per model. For example, an electric industry model has an electric module designed for a particular geographic area. A module determines the industry model schema, and specifies pre-configured forms for industry model features.
Extensions -- Extensions are database enhancements such as COGO, Dimensions, or Survey.
If you have created a data model and saved it as a SQLite file, you can load it for this industry model template. The data model specifies the feature classes and structure for the industry model.
- Units -- Each industry model includes multiple units. The specific units depend on the industry. For example, an electrical industry model includes length units as well as electrical units.
- Spatial settings, such as tolerance. The specific settings vary by industry.
- Modules -- Pre-defined data structures. You specify a module only for a new industry model; existing industry models already have one. Generally, you include only one module per model. For example, an electric industry model has an electric module designed for a particular geographic area. A module determines the industry model schema, and specifies pre-configured forms for industry model features.
- Click OK to create the modules and data models.
- When the process is finished, click
Update.
The process updates the standard data structure.
- Specify the remaining settings for this industry model template. See Viewing and Editing an Industry Model Template.
- When you have finished, click
Save.
Specify a location and name for your template. By default, templates use the extension .DWT, and are stored in the Industry Templates folder.
