To view the following attributes in the Attribute Editor, select an object and expand the Turtle section in its shading engine node.
Select TURTLE > Add Shading Group Attributes to add the following attributes to the Attribute Editor window.
Important: Turtle does not load automatically when running
Maya Creative. To use Turtle, activate
Turtle.mll in the
Plug-in Manager.
- Photon Shader
- Lets you connect a photon shader for the material.
- Surface Shader Override

Lets you override the shader for the material. For example, if you have a CG shader which can’t be rendered with Turtle, you can override what Turtle renders by connecting a shader here.
