Copy source clips to a character

To create instances of a source clip in the Trax Editor

  1. Do one of the following:
  • In the Outliner, select a source clip and middle-drag it to a character in Trax. See Use the Outliner with Trax.
  • In the Visor, select a source clip and middle-drag it to a character in Trax. See Use the Visor with Trax.
  • In the Trax Editor, highlight a character and from the Trax menu bar select Library > Insert Clip > <sourceClip>.

An instance of the source clip you selected appears at the current time under its character in the track view area.

Note: Before you can copy and paste clips between characters, the characters must first be mapped. See Mapping animation between characters in the Character Setup guide.
