Delete

Delete the selection.

Select Edit > Delete, or press the Delete key.

Delete components of a certain type from the selected objects

Select an item from the Edit > Delete by Type submenu.

Delete all objects of a certain type.

Select an item from the Edit > Delete All by Type submenu.
