Paint hair follicles

Use the Paint Hair Follicles tool for the following operations:

• Add new hair follicles to a new or existing nHair system.
• Remove hair follicles.
• Modify follicle attributes.
• Trim hairs.
• Extend hairs.

Before painting, be sure you are either in the Start or Rest Position.

To paint using the Paint Hair Tool

1. Select either the surface or the hair system you want to paint.
2. From the FX menu set, select nHair > Paint Hair Follicles > . The Paint Hair Follicles Settings window appears, as well as the Paint Scripts Tool window, which controls the brush settings.

3. Select a Paint Mode in the Paint Hair Follicles Settings window.
4. Specify the additional settings for the selected Paint Mode.
5. Paint on the surface.
   Note:

   If you are painting the Inclination attribute, go to the start frame before painting.
