You can animate hair by keyframing the weight values of a Guide modifier's sculpt layers.

- Add a Guide modifier to your description and create the guides. See Create hair guides using a Guide modifier.
- In the Interactive Groom Editor, expand the modifier, its sub-description, and Sculpt modifier node.
- Activate the sculpt layer by clicking Edit.
- Use the interactive groom tools to reshape the guides and the hair.
- To animate the hair between the base groom and the new pose, keyframe the weight values of the sculpt layer between 0 and 1. Set keyframes by clicking this icon:
