    Use the Node Editor to create node networks

    To open the Node Editor, select Windows > Node Editor. The Node Editor is the preferred editor for workflows such as rigging. For more information, see Node Editor.

    The Hypershade is the preferred editor for creating shader networks. For more information, see Look development using the Hypershade.
