
Tweak Mode lets you transform components without the manipulators
Tweak mode lets you transform components (faces, edges, vertices) without having to drag the tool manipulators while in Move
, Rotate
, or Scale
mode. It’s useful for positioning objects in a scene or making quick adjustments to a specific mesh.
Tweak mode is compatible with all component types.
To transform components with Tweak mode
- Select a component (face, edge, vertex) on your object.
- Choose the transform tool (Move
, Rotate
, or Scale
) manipulators. You can also use the W, E, and R hotkeys.
- Middle-drag the components to transform them. You can also press and hold
`(Backtick, found below the Tilde key,) to enter Tweak mode.
Note: You can also tweak edges and vertices when the cursor is outside of the mesh (in dead space). See Make a selection in dead space.
