Change the selected region of polygon components or NURBS CVs

To... Do this...
Select the components around the current selection. Use Select > Use Constraints
Select all edges connected to the current section. Use Select > Contiguous Edges
Select the CVs around the current selection. Use Select > CV Selection Boundary
Select the CVs on the edges of the surface. Use Select > Surface Border
